Hamid Reza Karimi 教授简介：现任意大利米兰理工大学应用力学教授，主要从事车辆与机电一体化系统的智能控制及振动研究。他是欧洲科学院院士、欧洲科学与艺术学院院士、挪威阿格德尔科学与文学院院士、国际工程技术学会杰出会士、玻利维亚国家科学院荣誉院士、国际声学与振动学会候任主席兼杰出会士、国际状态监测学会会士、亚太人工智能学会会士，同时也是国际状态监测学会管理委员会成员。在全球“全球前2%顶尖科学家”榜单中，他在工业工程与自动化领域位列全球第37位。

Good morning!It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to warmly welcome you all to the 3rd China-Europe Scientists Forum here in Frankfurt, Germany.

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the distinguished scientists, experts, and delegates from China, Germany, and other European countries who have taken the time to join us. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the more than sixty scientific associations and institutions whose support and contributions have helped make this forum possible.

Your presence here today reflects our shared commitment to advancing scientific discovery, strengthening international cooperation, and building a better future through knowledge and innovation.

Ladies and gentlemen,Since its initiation in late 2023 by more than thirty renowned scientists, including academicians and professors from China and across Europe, the China-Europe Scientists Forum has steadily developed into an important platform for academic exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and scientific collaboration. Following the successful forums held in Frankfurt and Heidelberg since 2024, we are delighted to welcome you to the third edition of this growing international initiative.

The continued development of this forum demonstrates a simple but powerful belief: science knows no borders, and scientific progress is strengthened through openness, dialogue, and collaboration.

In a world facing increasingly complex challenges—from technological transformation and public health to energy sustainability and environmental protection, no single country or discipline can provide all the answers. We need to bring together different perspectives, share knowledge, combine expertise, and translate scientific discoveries into practical solutions that benefit humanity.

This is precisely the spirit that brings us together today. Our theme, “China-Europe Insight, Embodied Future,” captures both the purpose and the aspiration of our gathering. “China-Europe Insight” represents our commitment to mutual understanding, intellectual exchange, and the sharing of scientific knowledge between China and Europe. “Embodied Future” invites us to transform ideas and discoveries into tangible innovations, practical applications, and meaningful contributions to society.

Through this forum, we hope not only to exchange ideas, but also to build lasting partnerships; not only to discuss scientific opportunities, but also to identify concrete pathways for collaboration; and not only to envision the future, but also to work together to shape it.

Distinguished guests, This year's forum brings together experts across a broad range of important and interconnected fields, including Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing; Robotics and Complex Systems; Translational and Clinical Medicine; Carbon Neutrality and New Energy; Smart Cities and Design; and AI Applications in Healthcare and Engineering.

These areas are at the forefront of scientific and technological development. They also present tremendous opportunities for cooperation between China and Europe.Artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing are reshaping industries and creating new possibilities for productivity and innovation. Robotics and complex systems are expanding the boundaries of automation and intelligent interaction. Advances in translational and clinical medicine are helping bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and improved patient care. Meanwhile, carbon neutrality, new energy, and smart-city development are essential to building a more sustainable and livable world. The application of artificial intelligence in healthcare and engineering further illustrates the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. By connecting expertise across different fields, we can accelerate innovation and address challenges that cannot be solved through isolated efforts.

I therefore encourage all participants to engage actively in the discussions, share your latest research and insights, explore emerging opportunities, and establish connections that extend well beyond this conference. I sincerely hope that the conversations initiated here will lead to joint research projects, institutional partnerships, talent exchange, and long-term cooperation between scientific communities in China and Europe.

As Chair of this forum, I firmly believe that the true value of an international scientific conference lies not only in the knowledge we exchange today, but also in the collaborations and achievements we create together tomorrow.

Ladies and gentlemen, Beyond our scientific agenda, this forum also provides an opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship among researchers, institutions, and countries.
